CONTACT US
On business days our GP assistant is available between 8.00 AM and 11.00 AM and 14.00 PM – 16.00 PM. You can make an appointment or ask questions, for example about test results or visits.
In the remaining time the assistants are bussy with consults, laboratory work and administrative duties.
During these hours we ask you that you only call for urgent matters which can not wait.
If the line is busy, you hear an automatic message which tells you what to do to get in contact with the GP assistant.

APPOINTMENTS DURING OFFICE HOURS
From Monday until Friday, office hours are from 8:00 AM to 17:00 PM.
Appointments can be made by calling the GP assistant between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
In order to plan your appointment, the GP assistant will ask you for the reason of your visit.
A standard consultation takes 15 minutes, which is long enough for one major complaint.
If you want to discuss several issues, or need more time, please inform the GP assistant when making the appointment in order to book you in for more time. When the consultation unexpectedly lasts longer, your doctor may ask you to make a follow-up appointment.
OUT OF OFFICE HOURS
If you urgently need the help of a doctor in the evening, at night or during the weekend you can call the attending GP at the Huisartsenpost Amstelland. This provides emergency GP care during the evening, night and weekend hours and during the holidays in the Amstelland region.
It is located in the Amstelland Hospital at the Laan van de Helende Meesters 8. Tel nr 020-4562000 www.huisartsenpost-amstelland.nl

By choosing 2 in the menu, repeat prescriptions can be ordered. On the label of the medicine box you will find all the information that is needed. You can leave your request for repeat prescriptions on our answering device 24 hours a day, 7 days a week ( unless the general practice is closed because of holidays). Prescriptions ordered before 3:00 PM are at your pharmacy after two business days, after 4:00 PM. You can also order some repeat prescriptions via the patientportal on the website.
HOUSE CALLS
If you are too sick to come to the practice you can apply for a house call between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Because of the lack of good equipment outside the practice, we prefer you to visit the practice if possible.
House calls are being made in the afternoon.

When your doctor thinks you need to see a specialist in the hospital, your doctor will write a (electronic) referral letter for you. You always need a referral before you can go to a specialist.
